The Intro
Amelia Moore is an artist I wish I had discovered sooner. Her sound is a perfect blend of pop and R&B. She is a perfect example of someone who understands the power of emotional vulnerability and transparency. She is a fresh, young talent who has attracted thousands of fans, yet still feels underappreciated.
Fans of artists like Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter will find songs on this project that they will enjoy. There are clear nods to several iconic artists in Amelia’s work, yet she does a great job of maintaining her own artistic identity.
The Complete Collection
This project is a bright, youthful pop-R&B release about young love, with lots of growing pains and self-discovery. Each track is backed by a simple yet fully realized production that allows Amelia’s voice and lyrics to take center stage.
The project is split into two parts: he’s just not that into you, and he’s still just not that into you. Across the two releases, Amelia shows noticeable growth in her music style and lyricism. The second half feels more confident, deliberate, and self-aware.
One of my favorite things about the project is the throughline. The songs tell a story of a troubled relationship that ends with an emotional epiphany. The story is connected by songs like See through it and “Emily”, in which she realizes she was causing the same harm she was going through to someone else. It is a thoughtful conclusion that ties the project together beautifully.

Tracks That Stood Out
The tracks below stood out for several reasons: they contribute to the project’s throughline, or they are fun to listen to lyrically. If you don’t want to listen to the whole project, these tracks are a great way to dip your toes in. I have also highlighted my favorite sections of each song with the timestamps!
See through
0:00-0:54
The perfect introduction, setting the tone for the level of honesty and vulnerability that runs throughout the project.
Push Up Bra
0:13-0:37
A clever and distinctly feminine analogy describing the energy she felt in the relationship. It’s playful, relatable, and memorable. It showcases her ability to tell a story through music.
Spelling Bee
0:36-1:14
This song features quick, witty wordplay, which is one of my favorite aspects of the lyrics. The punchy beat adds to the playful banter that happens between Amelia and Teezo.
F**k Marry Kill
0:02-1:15
A ballad showcasing Amelia’s vocal skills. Very reminiscent of what relationships feel like at a young age. A reflective moment in the project that begins to show the character’s growth.
Underwater
0:03-0:53
This song is a must listen! The vocals and lyrics are playful, yet they still convey that she 100% means every single word she sings. Then there is the simple production that allows the lyrics to shine. This song comes in towards the end, reinforcing the slow ending of this troubled relationship.
See through it
1:14-1:46
The lyric changes from the initial track “See Through” are methodical and intentional. A clear sign of growth and the readiness to move on. It really brings the whole project together, and it is a treat to listen to in full.
“Emily”
2:06-2:33
This song is a nice addition to the project and shows how intentional Amelia was in setting the tracklist. She had a vision for this project, and the throughline shows up nicely. It is a candid and vulnerable track that reflects deeply on personal experiences.
In the End
Amelia Moore is a must-listen for fans of pop mixed with R&B. Not only are her vocals impressive, but her songwriting is thoughtful, and her piano skills are strong. She’s still growing, but if she’s not already on your radar, she should be.
